Fall Into the Festivals

You can smell it in the air! Even in Florida, our morning weather has changed. There’s a slight briskness in the temperature that wasn’t there before. Pumpkin spice is everywhere you look! While we live in Florida and our seasons don’t really change, true Floridians know, the seasons are changing! Many call it Summer Jr. For most, this is their favorite time of the year!

It’s not too cold, not too hot, but just right. This is a time of shedding the old and starting anew. It’s also a time to enjoy the various fall festivals going on locally.

Pumpkin patches are all the rage, especially for the kids.

Community Presbyterian Church in downtown Celebration puts on an amazing fall festival and has an awesome pumpkin patch! Enjoy homemade treats, apple cider, and of course, pumpkin spice lattes. The Fall Festival goes from October 16-17th from 10 am-6 pm and the pumpkin patch is open until October 31st.

Lake Nona Pumpkin Patch at Boxi Park offers live entertainment, specialty foods and drinks, pumpkins for purchase, and costumes are much welcomed! Open Thursday through Sunday, this event will be here until October 31st, and an awesome bonus is: admission is free!

If you want to enjoy hayrides, pumpkin carving, pumpkin picking, and a slew of other fun events, make your way to Whisper Creek Farm at Grande Lakes Orlando. For some weekend fun, overnight resort guest tickets are $40 and visitor’s tickets are $60. From Saturday through Sunday get all of the feels of fall that you want, need, and desire between 10am & 3pm.

Fall at Southern Hills Farm is a great place to spend some family time.

“Head to the farm for one of our favorite Orlando fall festivals. Fun seasonal activities include sunflower and zinnia picking, fall eats (like apple cider donuts and hot apple cider), a pumpkin patch, fall photo ops, s’mores kits and so much more $20/person.”

Sanlando Pumpkin Patch at Sanlando Methodist Church hosts their fall festival on October 24th from 3-5. Check out pumpkins of all different colors, take advantage of family photo ops, hay Bayles, and much, much more. This is a free community event! Please leave the fur babies at home as this is not a pet-friendly event.

Lake Eola Park invites you to celebrate 50 years of Fall Fiesta in the Park! This free event gives spectators a chance to see over 300 artists’ work, crafters, and savor delicious food. As you stroll around, be sure to take in the spectacular scenery of Lake Eola.
