Feeding Children Everywhere launched August of 2010 in Sanford, FL. There mission is clear, ” Activating People for a Hunger Free World”.
This organization is helping children abroad and right here at home by making a meaningful impact with tangible results.
There are three ways to volunteer: hosting a hunger project, volunteer at an open event or make a financial contribution. Hosting a hunger project in your community is simple. You set a target goal of how many meals you would like to prepare, raise money and gather volunteers to support the meal
preparation. Remember $1 feeds 4 children. The meals are dried food that consist of lentils, rice and dehydrated vegetables.
The assembly line packaging technique is very easy for small toddlers and elementary school age children to participate.
The staff is very knowledgeable and wholeheartedly supports making your hunger project a success.
The open events are amazing and easy for volunteers to signup. The events are located on the website and all participants must register.
Financial Contributions are also a great way to continue the movement to feed children everywhere.
