Seattle is a great travel destination for adults and kids alike. If you’re into the outdoors, a foodie, or looking for a unique experience in the city, this is definitely a location you should visit! With so much to see and do, here are some our top suggestions for families to experience.

Recommended Activities for Adults and Families

Pike’s Place Fish Market
This is Seattle’s place to buy fresh produce, specialty foods and visit independent businesses. The tradition of “Meet the Producer” buying power was established in 1907 and has over 200 owner-operated markets. A great place for families to eat, explore and enjoy. www.pikeplacemarket.org

Space Needle
The Space Needle is a Seattle icon and definitely one of the most recognized landmarks in the world. Originally built for the 1962 World’s Fair, the needle stands 605 feet tall and offers a 360 degree indoor and outdoor panoramic view of Seattle. A true architectural wonder for families to enjoy. Most people are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance, as lines can get long rather quickly. www.spaceneedle.com
