No, we’re not in the low 60’s bearing Uggs, gloves, hats, and scarves while gripping a hot chocolate because hey, this is Florida! We still like to act like it's fall. What better way to celebrate the nostalgia of fall activities than to have some fun at a corn maze? Orlando and surrounding areas have some great spots for your enjoyment.

Long and Scott Farms Corn Maze in Mt. Dora is a great place for all ages to explore! The maze is open Saturdays and Sundays until December 12, 2021. There’s even a special nighttime maze that couples will enjoy on specified dates. Be sure to purchase your $15 ticket in advance.

“Join us for our 19th annual corn maze and pumpkin patch! This year our theme is Dinosaurs. Get lost in our 6.5-acre corn maze! Jump on our huge jumping pillow, slide down our 60ft super slide, play on our giant castle-like playground. Not ready to tackle so many acres in the big maze? Try out our 0.5-acre mini maze for a shorter journey into the corn, get your fortune, and learn about the different types of farming. As you journey through acres of pathways inside the corn maze, you find pictures and clues to help you play the game, making learning about Farm to Table fun for the whole family. Compete with friends to collect all the hidden clues as you hunt for hints and answers for your game sheet. Get into the great outdoors and soak up the fresh country air. Take an audio tour of our farm on the hayride while learning about what we grow and our history. Check out our Market, Cafe, and food vendors. As always, we are committed to ensure the comfort and safety of our guests and employees.”

If you’re up for some scary frills and chills, head over to Groveland for the Haunted Halloween Maze at Lake Catherine Blueberries. This year you can experience “Catherine’s Revenge.” Parking is free and admission is $11 if you purchase your tickets online and $13 if you purchase your tickets at the door.

Club Lake in Apopka has a pumpkin chunkin’ that’s out of this world! Tickets are $7.95 per person Thursday through Friday. $14.95 per person Saturday through Sunday.

“Our activities this year will include, but not limited to, two hayrides, corn maze, toddler maze, pumpkin patch, Country Store, play structures, high strikers, football area, basketball area, The Cow Wash, and much more! Pumpkin chunkin’ and tennis ball launching from an air cannon are also available.”

Partin Ranch Annual Corn Maze is open until November 7th from 10am to 5pm. Enjoy the local vendors, fall décor, goodies, a pumpkin patch, photo ops and more. Tickets are only $10 per adult.

Head up the street to Clermont’s Southern Hill Farms. The kids’ zone has everything a kid could want! While the farm itself has much to offer its guest. It’s one of those places that you have to go to because the experience is beyond what you could even imagine.

“Join us on our family farm for our 6th annual Fall Festival at Southern Hill Farms! What fall adventure would be complete without mouth-watering apple cider donuts, jolly Jumbo Jack carving pumpkins and s'mores around the fire pits? Admission tickets must be purchased online in advance, no admission payments will be accepted at the farm. Admission tickets give you access to everything on the farm. Tickets and more information can be found at here."

This fall, make it count! With so much to do, there’s no reason not to make fall, better known as Summer Jr., the best one yet.
