Designed by the Walt Disney Company in the '90s, Celebration, FL was created for those seeking a sense of community, peace, relaxation, and a better quality of life. Celebration was designed to be a modern-day utopia, hosting beautiful homes, a Disney-esque atmosphere, and cool dining experiences.
You'll find residents in this quaint city walking or riding their bikes after a delicious meal, frequenting the farmers market, and or enjoying the monthly food festivals.
Only 10 -15 minutes from Disney's attractions, Celebration offers residents an opportunity to live inside the dream of Disney.
“Celebration was named one of America’s 10 prettiest towns. The picturesque downtown is compact and walkable. The community features a diverse and interesting mix of housing, from grand estate-style homes to condos, all of which are situated on pedestrian-friendly streets,” according to Visit Florida.
Find yourself on Market Street and take a horse-drawn carriage ride. You could also join hop on the Celebrations Train's annual event, "Now Snowing." This free event is perfect for the family. Stroll along the street and delight yourself in “snowfall” that’s not too heavy nor too light. Market Street Gallery shines with beautiful Christmas lights and a few stores offering a vintage Christmas feel. Parking is free and offsite. So, you can really enjoy your time walking around freely and safely.
Make sure you make your way over to The Lights on Jeader Bend and revel at the magnificence of a street filled with Christmas lights and synchronized music. You can even see the lit-up home of Calvin Slater, a resident of Celebration whose home was featured on ABC’s, 'The Christmas Light Fight.'
Celebration also offers beautiful golf courses that any avid golfer would approve of. It is said that the Celebration Golf Club Golf course is challenging.
Orlando Golf describes that “The course's design features tight, narrow fairways and greens that are both small and large. Water hazards appear on every hole except for one, the 11th. There are also sand bunkers strategically situated throughout the course. The Celebration Golf Club facility also features several practice facilities including a unique driving range where the greens are actually islands, a putting green, and chipping area.”
Laid back, quaint, and peaceful are some of the words used to describe Celebration. Florida. It’s a little reflection of Disney with a whole lot of charm.
