It's Not Over!

Summer is still here! We still have time to get a vacation in. Though Ms. COVID-19 and her Delta variant are still hovering among us, we can still vacation safely and enjoyably. A great idea is taking your vacation to unchartered territory. Well, not really unchartered. More so, uncrowded.

St. Vincent and The Grenadines is a perfect Caribbean destination with powder white sand beaches, crystal waters, luxury accommodations, loads of seafood, and a Caribbean favorite: rum punch. With summer being the off-season, you won’t have to worry about crowds of people getting in the way. Hotel prices tend to drop between July to October, making it a perfect destination for a last-minute summer vacay.

Cleveland, Ohio, better known as "The Land" is not a typical top destination most travelers seek for their summer vacation.

Many are surprised at all the crazy fun Cleveland offers.

Get ready for this ride of things to do…

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will turn friends into foes. Many have found themselves debating with one another about who should and who should not have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. The Children’s Museum of Cleveland fosters imagination all while educating at the same time, bringing fun and adventure to life. Cleveland boasts 18 Metroparks where you can hike, bike ride, or just relax! And in case you didn’t know, Cleveland has a few beaches on the lake! Great Lakes Science Center where you can learn about many things STEM. Jack Cleveland Casino for the high rollers of the family. Open 24/7, you can press your luck at the casino tables and win big or lose it all. We’ll focus on the positive and say, “WIN BIG!” Playhouse Square is a beautiful site. Only Cleveland would be so dramatic to have a crystal chandelier in the middle of the street. We are here for it! Oh, and while you’re gazing at the chandelier, check out a play or two. You will not be disappointed!

Cleveland, Ohio has so much more to offer for a vacation. It’s an absolute must if you’ve never been.

Many vacationers travel to Florida for the attractions and the beaches. Whether you’re visiting Florida or you live there, we can all agree, during the summer, the beaches are way too crowded. The perfect be to head over to is Sebastian Inlet, Spacecoast.

According to The Palm Beach Post, “Fishermen and surfers have long loved where the ocean meets sand at the Sebastian Inlet. The three-mile stretch of pristine oceanfront is as good as yours since the surf crowds have bigger waves to catch. Locals love this beach because of where it’s situated -- right at the spot where the water makes the subtle switch from deep blue to Caribbean turquoise. Oh, and because of the bottlenose dolphins and manatee sightings.”

Another good spot that you won’t find overcrowded in Florida is Pass-A-Grille Beach, St. Pete. A quiet beach but with all the amenities. Bars, dining, surfing, shops, galleries all on a soft sandy beach.

Don’t sleep on Jacksonville, Florida!

On Jacksonville's Things To Do include being able to “Relax on stretches of stunning beaches; paddle through our nature-filled waterways; hike and bike while exploring our parks; dine in our top-rated restaurants, and take the time to enjoy and unwind in a place that makes it all possible. There’s plenty to do in Jax for families, couples, nature-lovers, adventure junkies, foodies, sports fans, arts, and history travelers, and more.”

Full of rich history, specifically African American history, this city offers much in culture and education. There are hidden beaches undiscovered by the masses. Nightlife is also a plus in Jacksonville!

With the year we’ve had, a vacation is a necessity. Don’t let the summer end without getting out and enjoying some COVID safe adventure and relaxation.
