On the Drive

Known for traffic, long lines, tourists, and overcrowding, International Drive, better known as I-Drive, is worth it all! While many Central Floridians try to avoid this strip at all costs, one thing we can’t deny it has much to offer.

Speaking of beauty, The Wheel at Icon Park gives you a 360-degree view of Orlando. Gaze at the scenery in an air-conditioned glass capsule as you ride up to 400 feet in the wheel. This 23-minute ride is a must whether you’re visiting the Orlando area or a resident.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not will have you awestruck as you explore the various exhibits while questioning whether they are fact or fiction. The family can enjoy learning about the oddest things ever discovered. Thankfully, it’s a self-guided tour because you may find yourself staring at an exhibit or collection that has you questioning whether you should believe what you’re seeing…Or not!

Madame Tussauds will have you hanging out with the stars and feeling like a VIP. Marvel at the realness of the wax figures. Kick back with the heroes of the Justice League, A-listers, movie stars, or historical figures from our past. There’s so much to see! Be sure you have your camera ready so you that can be the envy of your friends as you snap pictures with all of the stars.

Andretti’s Indoor Karting and Games will fulfill your need for speed and adventure. Karting, laser tag, arcades, bowling, and food, this is a one-stop-shop of thrills. There’s something for everyone to enjoy at Andretti’s.

While it may seem like I-Drive is for the fast and furious thrill-seekers, you can also slow the pace down with a relaxing massage.
There are spas galore on International Drive. With over 10 spas, take your pick of the ambiance you’re looking to experience.

At this point, I’m sure you’re asking, “With so much to do and explore, surely there’s somewhere to quench my thirst and hunger?” Absolutely! I-Drive does not disappoint. Choose from over 150 restaurants on the strip. Check out some authentic Greek cuisines and learn how to Belly dance or Mexican food with some of the best tequilas. Whether you are looking for an upscale dining experience, simplistic or eclectic, the food scene on I-drive is incomparable.

Of course, shopping is a necessity. Orlando Premium Outlet has the cure. It is the largest shopping outlet in the southeast, offering over 180 stores where you can lose yourself in some serious retail therapy. Retail therapy is a real thing!

International Drive may never lose its reputation for traffic, but with everything it has to offer, it's no wonder why so many flock to the area to partake in all of its glory!
